The recommended dose for the treatment of anxiety is 2 to 3 mg per day, administered in fractional doses, however, your doctor may recommend between 1 and 10 mg per day.
For the treatment of insomnia caused by anxiety, a single daily dose of 1 to 2 mg should be taken before bedtime.In the elderly or sick, an initial dose of 1 or 2 mg per day, in fractional doses, is recommended, which should be adjusted according to the needs and tolerance of the individual.
As a preoperative medication, a dose of 2 to 4 mg is recommended the day before the procedure and/or one or two hours before the procedure.
The action of the drug begins approximately 30 minutes after ingestion.
This medicine should not be used in people who have hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the formula or who have been allergic to a benzodiazepine-based medicine.
