Tensuril is an antihypertensive whose active substance is diazoxide.
This injectable drug is indicated for the treatment of high blood pressure because its action produces the dilation of blood vessels and decreases resistance on them, so blood pressure tends to decrease and remain stable.

Adults and children
Administer 1 to 3 mg of Tensuril per kg body weight every 5 to 15 minutes until blood pressure stabilizes. The daily dose should not exceed 150 mg.
