Tensaldin is a drug used to fight pain and colic, based on dipirone, caffeine and isometepene mucate.
Analgesic and antispasmodic effect, useful in the fight against various types of pain and colic.
- In case of high blood pressure.
- Allergy to dipirone or another component of the formula.
- Porphyria.
- Congenital glucose disease 6-phosphate dehydrogenase.
Increased sensitivity of mucous membranes in the mouth, eyes, skin and nasal area, if this happens, the medicine should be discontinued. Thrombopenia, pancytopine, agranulocytosis, anemia, spinal cord aplasia, if used for a long time.
Adults and children over 50 kg: 1 to 2 tablets or 20 to 40 drops
Children between 25 and 35 kg: 10 to 20 drops,
20 to 25 kg: 8 to 15 drops,
10 to 15 kg: 4 to 5 drops
8 to 9 kg: 3 to 4 drops,
Less than 5 kg, 1 drop.
All doses can be repeated 3 to 4 times a day
A red color may appear in the urine due to the dipirone; this is a normal condition.
