Taxotere is a drug in which docetaxel is the active ingredient.
This medicine is used by injection and works by preventing the spread of cancer cells in the body. It should only be used if the previous chemotherapy treatment fails.

Patients should only use this medicine after receiving an oral corticosteroid (16 mg / day of dexamethasone, for 5 days).
