“Tafinlar is a drug to treat melanoma, the most aggressive and dangerous type of skin cancer.
Tafinlar is composed of Dabrafenib, a compound that only treats melanoma with a mutation in a specific gene called BRAF and has already spread to other parts of the body or cannot be eliminated by surgery.

Tafinlar can be purchased from pharmacies and requires a prescription.
You should take 2 75 mg capsules, which should be given twice daily as directed by your doctor.
The capsules should be swallowed whole, with a glass of water, without breaking or chewing them and should not be taken with food, so after taking Tafinlar you should wait at least 1 hour before eating or if you have already eaten you should wait 2 hours before taking the medicine.
Some of tafinlar’s side effects may include fever, thickening of the skin, outbreaks of warts, redness and swelling of the palms, fingers and plants of the feet, headache, vomiting, nausea, diarrhea, decreased appetite, chills, feeling weak, lack of energy, pain in the joints, muscles or hands or feet, cough, hair loss, constipation, flu or increased blood sugar.
Tafinlar is indicated for the treatment of melanoma patients who do not have a modification of the BRAF gene and for patients allergic to dabrafenib or any of the formula components.
