Revitan can be administered with juice and milk, in a single dose per day or divided into two intakes a day, preferably with one meal.
Revitan side effects are rare, but itching, skin redness, oral mucosal irritation, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, headache, discomfort, confusion or arousal, peeling of the skin, blurred vision and loss of appetite.
Revitan is contraindicated in a patient with hypersensitivity to one of the components of the formula, hypervitaminosis A or D and excess calcium in the blood. Revitan should be taken with caution in a patient with diabetes, kidney disease or anemia.
