Nifedipine (Adalat Delay)

The drug Nifedipino sold under the name Adalat Retard is a vasodilator widely used for circulatory and cardiac problems.

High blood pressure, stable angina, pulmonary arterial hypertension.

  • Acute myocardial infarction.
  • Hypotension.
  • Heart failure.
  • Sinus node disease.
  • Advanced aortic stenosis.
  • Unstable angina.
  • Pregnancy.
  • Porphyria and angina after IAM.

Headaches, redness, heat in the face, dizziness, lethargy, depression, parstesia, myalgia, tremors, tachycardia, palpitations, gravitational oedema, nausea, erythema, itching, hives, constipation, diarrhea, visual disturbances, sexual impotence, engeval hyperplasia gynecomastia jaundice, cholestasis, hyperglycaemia.

10 mg tablet twice daily. Up to a maximum of 20 mg, 3 times daily.
