Doses of Neupro should be indicated and evaluated by the doctor, as they depend on the evolution of the disease and the severity of the symptoms experienced. In general, a dose of 4 mg is indicated every 24 hours, which can be increased to a maximum of 8 mg over a 24-hour period.
The patches should be applied to clean, dry and uncut skin on the abdomen, thigh, hip, side between the ribs and the hip, shoulder or upper arm.Each place should only be repeated every 14 days and the use of creams, oils or lotions. in the adhesive area it is not recommended.
Some of Neupro’s side effects may include drowsiness, dizziness, headache, nausea, vomiting, pain, eczema, inflammation, swelling or allergic reactions at the site of application such as redness, itching, swelling or the appearance of red spots on the skin.
This remedy is contraindicated for pregnant or lactating women and for patients allergic to rotigotine or one of the components of the formula.
