Nebacetin is an antibiotic ointment used to treat infections of the skin or mucous membranes such as open wounds or skin burns, infections around the hair or outside the ears, infected acne, cuts or sores with pus.
This ointment is composed of two antibiotics, bacitracin and neomycin, which together are effective in eliminating a wide range of bacteria, fighting and preventing infections.

The ointment should be applied 2 to 5 times a day throughout the area to be treated using gauze, treatment should continue 2 to 3 days after the disappearance of symptoms, however, treatment cannot be extended more than 10 days.

Nebacetine is contraindicated for patients with diseases or problems with renal function, a history of balance or auditory problems and for patients allergic to neomycin, bacitracin or any of the ingredients of the formula.
