People who have repeated liver problems or blood tests that show possible liver problems, people allergic to ezetimiba or atorvastatin or any of the components of LIPTRUZET. If you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant. If you are breast-feeding or intend to breastfeed. Before taking LIPTRUZET, tell your doctor if: you have thyroid problems, kidney problems, diabetes, unexplained muscle pain or weakness, drink more than two glasses of alcohol a day, or have or have had liver problems, have any other medical conditions.
The recommended starting dose is 10/10 mg/day or 10/20 mg/day. The dosage range varies from 10/10 mg/day to 10/80 mg/day.
This medicine can be given in a single dose, at any time of the day, with or without food. The tablets should not be crushed, dissolved or chewed.
It is not known if it is safe and effective in children.
