Fluorouracil is a drug for injectable or topical use, the active substance of which is fluorouracil. This drug is also known commercially as Efurix.
It is an antineoplastic drug that works by preventing the spread and helping to treat cancer cells.
- Colon and rectal cancer; breast cancer cancer; pancreatic cancer; stomach cancer head and neck cancer; liver cancer Ovarian cancer; actinic keratosis.
Diarrhea; vomiting nausea oral sores; lack of appetite acuosity; sensitivity to slight changes in metallic taste taste in the mouth when the drug discoloration is administered along the vein through which the drug is administered; anemia infections: bleeding.
Risk of pregnancy D; Women who breastfeed; hypersensitivity to fluorouracil.
Injectable use

It is not recommended to use the same vein for repeated applications.
Topico use
Precautions should be taken when handling the medicine, gloves should be used and hands should be washed properly after application.
