Dapsone is an anti-infective remedy that contains diaminodiphenylsulfone, a substance that kills the bacteria responsible for leprosy and relieves the symptoms of autoimmune diseases such as dermatitis herpetiformis.
This medicine is also known as FURP-dapsone and is produced as a tablet.

Dapsone is indicated for the treatment of all forms of leprosy, also known as leprosy, and herpetiform dermatitis.
The use of this medicine should always be guided by a doctor, however, there are general indications:

In these cases, the dose should be adapted to the response of each organism and treatment usually begins with a dose of 50 mg daily, which can be increased to 300 mg.
The most common side effects are brown spots on the skin, anemia, frequent infections, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, tingling, insomnia and liver disorders.
This remedy should not be used in cases of severe anemia or advanced renal amylosis, as well as in case of allergy to any of the ingredients of the formula.
For pregnant and nursing women, this medicine should only be used with your doctor’s instructions.
