Batten’s disease

Batten disease is a degenerative disease of the brain, which causes the loss of acquired capacities until the onset of symptoms that begin, which usually appear around age 5, children develop normally and until symptoms of Batten’s disease begin to appear, such as seizures, vision problems, aggressive behaviors, learning difficulties , progressive loss of motor skills, mental confusion and loss of balance.

There is no way to prevent Batten’s disease, which comes from a genetic mutation and only ends with the patient’s death.
