Amiodarone hydrochloride is the main compound in Atlansil, a drug used to combat cardiac arrhythmias, which is properly regulated by the FDA.

Atrial flutter, cardiac arrhythmia, atrial fibrillation.

  • Pregnancy.

  • Sinus lymph node disease.
  • Sinus bradycardia without pacemakers.
  • 2nd and 3rd synorial and atriovenricular blockage.
  • Hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism.

Nausea, vomiting, constipation, taste disturbance, ataxia, tremors, parstesia, muscle weakness, headache, insomnia, dizziness, pulmonary fibrosis, pneumonia, depression, bradycardia, hypotension, deposit of amiodarone crystals in the cornea.

100 to 200 mg 2 or 3 times daily.
