Aliprazide is the active substance of the drug called Superan, this antiemetic favors the rapid emptying of the stomach by stimulating gastric movements and increasing the strength of the esophageal sphincter, thus avoiding the sensation of nausea.
This non-generic drug is available in drops that should be diluted in a glass of water, its use during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended due to the lack of conclusive studies.
Nausea and vomiting in cancer treatments
Stop menstruation, breast augmentation, diarrhea, headache, facial spasms, involuntary movements or torticollis, low blood pressure, drowsiness, dizziness.
Pregnancy, lactation, pheochromocytoma (tumors), difficulty moving with the use of neuroleptics.
Orally
Adults: 50 to 200 mg / day spread over 3 or 4 intakes (dilute the drops in the water).
Children: 5 mg / kg / day divided into 3 intakes (dilute the drops in the water).
Treatment should not exceed 7 days and alcohol consumption is counter-added during treatment.
